Our first contract in the Kurdistan Region was to provide the supply, installation and construction of a remote-camp site. PA has focused on developing and adding new business lines that are complimentary to existing ones, allowing for the execution of turnkey camp construction and management projects over the extended lifecycle of the camp.
We provide Site Preparation, Construction and Supply & Installation of Camps, and also provide necessary management to ensure client requirements are met in the areas of cost/time management and QHSE assurance. Our services include Site Preparation (Earthwork, Excavation, Compaction), Construction (Foundations, Roads, Sidewalks), Camp Supply and Installation (Containers & Cabins for Accommodation, Kitchen, Laundry) Network Supply and Installation (Electrical, Water, Sewage).
In 2013, we built a large camp from Afren Mena Limited, intended to be a long-term production camp. The camp, which Afren have since vacated as they have relinquished the block, was at the time regarded as the finest camp in the Kurdistan Region, not only by Afren, but other IOCs who visited.
In recent years, we have focused on developing our Civil Work business line, and have executed multiple projects in the Region including “the Site Preparation, Cabin Refurbishment and Camp Installation” project for the RosNeft OPF Camp in Harir, “Building Renovation” Works for DNO in Tawke and multiple Site Preparation projects (Construction of Waste Pits, Water Pits, Earthworks etc..) for Genel Energy in Sarta.
However, the fruit of our efforts came at the end of 2020, when PA was tasked with the “Construction and Renovation of the WSU Malian Bridge” by Chevron for the Kurdistan Regional Government. PA delivered the project on time, on budget and to an outstanding standard which received high praise by the client, the Local Residents, the Local Authorities and the relevant Ministries in the KRG.
Most Recently, PA completed the “Sarta-6 Well Site Construction and Civil Works” contract for Genel Energy which included the construction of well pads, multiple camp pads, water and waste pits and multiple access roads. The project recorded over 25,600 Man-hours and over 100,000 KM driven with no recordable incidents.
