Having proven our abilities to Genel Energy over the past year, we were able to secure the contract for the operation of the Sarta block. This contract entitles PA to provide all required Manpower, Heavy Equipment & Machinery, and Material to Genel Energy to execute the various on-going projects and to support their operation on the Sarta Block.
Under difficult weather and terrestrial conditions and amounting operational pressure, PA was able to deliver the Sarta-6 Well Pad and Associated Civil Works contract in a safe and timely manner and to the expectation of the client. The end product showcased the construction abilities that PA has developed over the years.
In record time and challenging circumstances, PA was able to successfully and safely complete the construction of the Wsu Malian Bridge project. The execution was extremely efficient and to the highest international standards. This achievement was highly praised by Chevron, the local authorities and the Kurdistan Regional Government. An official opening ceremony was held on-site attended by Top Tier Government Officials and was broadcasted on many media outlets in the KRI. In summary, this project is considered a true example for what the collaboration of IOCs, Local Communities, the KRG and a Local Service provider such as PA can achieve and contribute to the development of Kurdistan.
As part of Genel Energy Development plan for the Sarta Block, the construction of the Sarta-6 Wellpad was highly anticipated since it represented the biggest project to be undertaken by Genel on the block to-date. PA welcomed the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities in executing high-risk multi-phased construction projects.
A valuable award for PA, as it will allow us to demonstrate to Genel Energy our capabilities in providing Life Support Services and showcase that the ability to provide satisfactory service is a PetroAlliance Corporate Culture that expands across all our business lines.
As part of Chevron’s CSR campaign and their commitment to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and to the local communities surrounding their areas of operation, Chevron intrusted PA with the construction of the WSU MALIAN town bridge and road to the highest international standards of construction and road safety.
Another successful execution of a project for Genel Energy in Sarta, to demonstrate PA capabilities and further consolidate our position as a reliable partner for Genel Energy.
PA has successfully completed, with no HSE Incidents and before the intended completion date, the renovation works for DNO OPF Building in Tawke.
An important milestone was achieved when PA signed their first ever contract with Genel Energy for their operations on the Sarta Block. This was a strategic achievement for PA, as it will ensure our continued presence in Sarta since Genel Energy will become the Operators of the Block after Chevron.
PA’s objective to target Service Companies with increasing number of projects in the KRI, is solidified with OilServ awarding us our first contract with them, to become the latest addition to PA’s Clients.
Having recently acquired the Harir Block, RosNeft awards PA their first ever contract in Harir block for the the Supply and Installation of the OPF Camp including site preparation and associated Civil works.
In a clear sign of the trust instilled by Chevron, PA is re-awarded the Sarta Site Maintenance and Civil Works contract for 3 additional years.
In the 2nd quarter of 2017, PA reached a target of 73% staff localization across the board.
In May 2017, PetroAlliance was one of the main sponsors in The Fig Club’s stellar production of Disney’s ‘Aladdin’. The Fig Club had 950 people in the audience and the show had 150 children on stage. As a sponsor, we are proud to have supported the Seed Foundation and 200 children in need that came to see that show that night, 20 of whom had the opportunity to dance in the show.
On May 15, 2017, PetroAlliance became officially registered on the new MNR AVL (Approved Vendor List) system.
At the conclusion of the evaluation and approval processes, PetroAlliance was selected as the contractor for TAQA's tender, 'Generator Maintenance Services'. This project is implemented in TAQA's Atrush block in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq.
At the conclusion of the evaluation and approval processes, PetroAlliance was selected as the nominated contractor for the tender, ‘General Field Maintenance Services & Small Construction Services’. This major project will be executed in Chevron’s Rovi and Sarta oil concessions in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq.
In the beginning of 2016, PetroAlliance successfully moved into its new premises in Erbil. The brand new premises consists of an office for PA staff, as well as a staff accommodation area. Additionally, the premises includes a five-star industrial kitchen and mini-warehouse.
Working in partnership with local charity organization, HOBY Group Iraq, PetroAlliance continued its efforts to implement successful Corporate Social Responsibility programs by donating $6,000.00 to build a mini-library at the Baharka Refugee Camp in the Kurdistan Region – Iraq.
